Elton Bob gig cut brief because of weather

Elton John's show in Blackpool was cut brief after the elements converted bad at the outside gig.

Sir Elton's display at the new market on the Structure Festival's headland was the first ever gig at the new location.

Police had to intercede and ask Sir Elton to quit the display although he did get two time into his set.

Blackpool was pelted by rainfall all day before the display and ongoing as the show started.

'The cops say you need to keep right now in an organized style,' Elton informed the audience. 'I'm sorry but I don't want anyone to be harm. I'll create it up to you.'

The show was his first display in Blackpool since 1977.
